Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

We'll keep this short and plain. No legal jargon walls. Just what you actually need to know.

The stuff you type into our calculators

Your salary, your property value, your day rate — none of it leaves your device. All calculations happen in your browser. We never see it, never store it, never have access to it. That's just how we built it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see things like how many people visited today, which tools are most popular, and roughly where our visitors are from (country level, not your street). This helps us figure out what to improve and what to build next.

Google Analytics doesn't tell us who you are — it just gives us aggregated numbers. If you'd rather opt out entirely, you can use the Google Analytics opt-out browser extension.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Some are essential — the site won't work properly without them. Others are analytics cookies that we only set if you accept them via the cookie banner when you first visit.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings.

Adverts

We show adverts through Google AdSense — that's how we keep the tools free. Google may use cookies to show you ads that are relevant to you based on your browsing history. You can manage or turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.

We don't sell your data to advertisers. We don't have your data to sell.

Contact form

If you send us a message through the contact page, we'll use your name and email to reply. We don't add you to any mailing list and we don't share it with anyone.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, get it corrected or deleted, and object to how we process it. In practice, because we don't store your calculator data at all, there's usually very little to request. But if you want to exercise any of these rights, get in touch via our contact page and we'll sort it out.

If you're not happy with how we've handled something, you can raise a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we'll change the date at the top. We won't email you about it — just check back here if you're curious.
